Egypt’s State Information Service still describes both Giza Zoo and Orman Garden as closed since July 2023 for redevelopment and says the official opening is scheduled for 2026.

That is not the same thing as a confirmed opening day. Recent Egyptian reporting still talks about preparations for the return of visitors, so I would not publish a precise date, ticket price or opening hours until the gates are verifiably operating.

The State Information Service says the redevelopment is being carried out under the supervision of international and African zoo associations, with technical oversight from Egypt’s Veterinary Services Authority.
